NHRA Fuel Coup aka Funny Car class run a one thousand foot strip with a top speed of over 330 MPH and an elapsed time of less than 3.6 seconds.  They reach an estimated 12000 HP running on nitro methane, the fuel of choice which is blended with methanol.  This blend does not exceed 90% nitro with the remainder methanol.
